The Visual Eyes building is a 4000 square foot optometry office. The project consisted of building on a very large and reinforced raft slab foundation, due to the nature of the soil and the high water table. The walls were reinforced with LSL engineered lumber. Special attention was given to ensure that all engineered lumber was installed according to plan and all structural hardware was installed properly. The building has 8 patient rooms which were wired to meet medical exam room code.
This project was a success with an actual construction build time of just under six months.
